Cardiac Anesthesiologist Needed in VT

Dates:
- January 1 - December 21, 2025, with the possibility of an extension
Position Overview:
One of our top clients is seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiologist for locum coverage. This role provides the opportunity to work in a prestigious environment and specialize in advanced cardiac cases.
Responsibilities:
- Perform on and off pump CABG, valve repair and replacement, cath lab, and vascular procedures
- Mix of solo cases and resident supervision (CA-1 to CA-3)
- Handle diagnostic TEE, arterial line, central line, spinal, and epidural placement for post-op pain
- Cardiac call from home 1:6, with no generalist or other call responsibilities
Requirements:
- Vermont license or IMLC preferred (unlicensed candidates will be considered)
- TEE certified or testamur status required
- Cardiac Anesthesia fellowship preferred
- BLS/ACLS certifications required
Additional Information:
- No clinic duties, only OR responsibilities
- Cardiac cases: 1-2 per day, Monday to Friday, 7 am to 5 pm with one late day per week
- Support from anesthesia techs, patient support assistants, and charge anesthesiologists
- CRNA and AA mid-level supervision possible in cath lab and vascular rooms
