Position Overview:
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible ENT physician for a full-time locum tenens opportunity at a Level 1 Trauma Center. This assignment begins in September as maternity coverage and offers a balanced mix of clinic, OR, and call responsibilities with strong APP and nursing support.
Assignment Details:
- Start Date: September 2026
- Duration: 3–4 months with potential for ongoing reduced coverage afterward
- Schedule:
- 3 office days per week
- 2 OR days per week
- Setting: Office, scheduled surgeries, and call coverage
- Call: 1:3 nights and weekends
- APPs take first call
- General ENT procedures
- Occasional facial trauma cases possible but rare
- Flexible scheduling options available:
- 1 week on / 1 week off
- 2 weeks per month
- 10+ days per month
Support Structure:
- Strong nursing and APP support
- Established surgical and office teams
- Level 1 Trauma Center environment
Requirements:
- Board-Certified/Board-Eligible ENT physician
- Active Texas license required
- Clean background required
- Comfortable with general ENT procedures and light trauma exposure
Compensation:
- $2,000 per clinic or OR day (8 hours)
- $200 beeper fee for call coverage after clinic/OR day
- $2,000 per call day (includes up to 5 hours)
- $250/hour call back
