NEW YORK - OB/GYN Hospitalist

Position Overview:
A nationally recognized teaching hospital in scenic Central New York is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible OB/GYN Hospitalist for night coverage. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with robust midwifery support and access to advanced clinical resources.

Assignment Details:

  • Start Date: September 1, 2025

  • Schedule: 7–8 night shifts per month (8:00 PM – 8:00 AM)

  • Setting: Academic teaching hospital

  • Call: On-site only; no additional call requirements

  • Annual Deliveries: Approximately 1,000

  • Support:

    • 24/7 Certified Nurse Midwife coverage

    • Backup OB/GYN physician support

  • EMR: Epic

  • Procedures: Cesarean sections, D&C, and laparoscopy for ectopic pregnancy

Requirements:

  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in OB/GYN

  • Proficient in required OB/GYN procedures

  • Team-oriented with a focus on high-quality patient care

  • Active NY license or willingness to obtain
