PENNSYLVANIA - Pediatric Pulmonology - Locums

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatric Pulmonologist to provide recurring coverage for an established pediatric program in Pennsylvania. This opportunity offers a blend of inpatient care, outpatient clinic responsibilities, bronchoscopy procedures, and call coverage while working alongside a dedicated pediatric care team.

Assignment Details:

  • Schedule: 1 week per month

  • Coverage Includes:

    • 5 days on-site

    • Weekend call coverage

  • Setting: Inpatient, outpatient, and call

  • Physicians provide both daytime inpatient coverage and nighttime call coverage during the same week

  • Average Phone Consults: Approximately 4 per day

  • Occasional ICU consults may occur, but the role is not exclusively ICU-based

  • EMR: Cerner

Responsibilities:

  • Inpatient pediatric pulmonary coverage

  • Outpatient clinic visits

  • Bronchoscopy procedures

  • Night and weekend call coverage

  • Pediatric pulmonary consultations and care coordination

Requirements:

  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Pulmonology

  • Active Pennsylvania license or active IMLC eligibility

  • Comfortable with inpatient, outpatient, bronchoscopy, and call responsibilities

Compensation:

  • $2,200 per day (0–8 hours)

  • $300 nightly beeper fee

  • $425 per hour callback
