We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Hospitalist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Montana. This position offers a collaborative, community hospital environment where Hospitalists co-manage Open ICU patients and perform a variety of bedside procedures.

Assignment Details:

• Start Date: ASAP

• Coverage Dates Available:

  • August-December

• Schedule: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• Providers able to cover multiple date blocks are strongly preferred

• Trauma Center

• Open ICU model with co-management of critically ill patients

Required Skills & Procedures:

• Paracentesis

• Thoracentesis

• Lumbar Puncture

• Arthrocentesis

• Central Venous Catheter Placement

• Arterial Line Placement

• Pigtail Catheter Placement

• Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS)

• Comfortable managing Open ICU patients

Requirements:

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Hospitalist

• Comfortable performing bedside procedures

• Experience with Open ICU co-management

• Active state license preferred

• Licensing assistance available for qualified candidates

• IMLC preferred for expedited credentialing

Compensation:

• $175-$200 per hour depending on shift and experience
