We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Surgeon for a call-only locum tenens opportunity in Montana. This assignment features a manageable call schedule, low to moderate patient volume, and recurring coverage opportunities throughout the year.

Assignment Details:

• Coverage Needed:

  • December 21–28 (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)

  • Additional one-week coverage approximately every other month

• Call-only assignment

• Low to moderate call volume

• Average workload of approximately 4–6 hours per day

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Bread and butter General Surgery

• Emergency upper and lower endoscopy as needed

• No trauma surgery

• Trauma patients are stabilized and transferred

• Ability to treat pediatric patients ages 10–12 is a plus but not required

Requirements:

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Surgeon

• Active state license preferred

• Licensing assistance available

• Comfortable with emergency endoscopy when needed

Compensation:

• $1,600-$2,000 per day depending on experience and volume
