NORTH DAKOTA - Interventional Cardiology - Call Coverage

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist for an immediate locum tenens opportunity in North Dakota. This assignment offers a unique chance to establish a relationship with a growing program while providing comprehensive interventional cardiology coverage. Providers must be available for the full coverage period and able to credential quickly.

Assignment Details:

  • Coverage Dates: September 2 – September 8

  • Orientation: September 1

  • Schedule: 24-hour call coverage (7:30 AM – 7:30 AM)

  • Setting: Inpatient, outpatient, and potential elective procedures

  • APP Support: Weekdays from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

  • EMR: Epic

  • Opportunity for future coverage needs after initial assignment

Required Procedures:

  • EKG Interpretation

  • TEE

  • Echocardiography

  • PCI / Stent Placement

  • STEMI Management

Requirements:

  • Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist

  • Active North Dakota license preferred

  • Will consider providers with an active IMLC Letter of Qualification

  • Must be available to commit to all coverage dates

  • Clean background required for temporary privileges

Compensation:

  • $2,400 – $2,800 per 24-hour call day (includes up to 3 hours)

  • $300 – $400 per hour callback
