Position Overview:
We are partnering with an outstanding critical access hospital in the Midwest seeking a Urologist to help re-establish and grow its Urology service line. This program was paused following a physician retirement, creating a unique opportunity for a provider to step in and rebuild the service from the ground up. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful, lasting impact on a rural community while shaping how care is delivered moving forward.
Assignment Details:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- $2800/day guaranteed for 8 hours of work
- No call, no weekends, no holidays
- Up to 3 weeks of coverage per month
- Setting: Critical access hospital
- Full access to OR
- Da Vinci robotic system available
Responsibilities:
- Provide general urology care in both clinic and surgical settings
- Perform procedures as indicated, including robotic cases if desired
- Support the development and growth of the Urology service line
- Collaborate with hospital leadership and clinical teams to establish workflows and patient care pathways
Requirements:
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Urology
- Active state license or ability to obtain
- Comfortable practicing independently and building a program
- Strong communication and leadership mindset
