We are seeking a Board-Certified Cardiovascular Surgeon for a locum tenens opportunity in Pennsylvania. This assignment offers a slower-paced call schedule with a manageable workload and multiple coverage blocks available throughout the first quarter of the year.

Assignment Details:

• Coverage Dates:

  • January -March

• Desirable weekend call coverage ongoing

• Average workload of 4-6 hours per day

• Call coverage assignment

• Slower-paced practice environment

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Cardiovascular Surgery call coverage

• CABG procedures required

• Valve procedures required

• No Thoracic Surgery cases

• Surgical consultation and management as needed

• Inpatient cardiac surgery coverage

Requirements:

• Board-Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon

• Active Pennsylvania medical license preferred

• Active IMLC accepted

• Recent CABG and valve surgery experience required

• Comfortable with independent call coverage

Compensation:

• $2,700-$3,400 per shift depending on volume and experience
