Position Overview:
A well-established health system in Indiana is seeking an additional full-time Urologist to support both inpatient and outpatient services. This opportunity offers a balanced mix of ER-based surgical cases, clinic work, and outpatient procedures with strong APP support and flexible scheduling options.
Assignment Details:
- Full-time inpatient and outpatient coverage
- Inpatient Call Schedule:
- 24-hour call (7 AM – 7 AM)
- 7-day stretches
- Outpatient Schedule:
- Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM – 4:30/5:00 PM
- Inpatient Cases: Full spectrum of surgical urology cases coming primarily through the ER
- Outpatient Volume:
- 15–20 patients per day
- 3–4 vasectomies daily
- Additional outpatient procedures available
Hospital & Support Structure:
- 380-bed Level 3 Trauma hospital
- Existing Urology team includes 2 employed Urologists and 1 Urologic Oncologist
- APP support includes 1 FNP-BC and 1 Physician Assistant
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Urology
- Active Indiana license preferred
- Willing to license or utilize IMLC
- Comfortable with inpatient call and outpatient procedures
Compensation:
- Inpatient Call: $2,500 – $3,000/day (includes minimum 4 hours)
- Call Back: $250 – $400/hour
- Outpatient Shifts: $2,500 – $2,900/day
- Overtime: $250 – $400/hour
