Position Overview:
We are seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN physician for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in North Carolina. This assignment focuses on hospital call coverage, providing support for labor and delivery, emergency consultations, and obstetrical care within a well-supported Family Birth Center.

Assignment Details:

• Coverage Dates:

  • 7-10 shifts per month beginning in July

• Additional dates available beginning in August and beyond

• Hospital call / beeper call only

• Approximately 35–40 births per month

• ED consults as needed

• Nursery rounding responsibilities

• C-sections performed within the Family Birth Center

Compensation:

• $2,000 + per day

Support Structure:

• Anesthesia available 24/7

• Pediatrics available 24/7

• Respiratory Therapy available 24/7

• Dedicated Family Birth Center with on-site OR capabilities

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology

• Active North Carolina license required

• Active North Carolina DEA required

• Comfortable with hospital call, deliveries, C-sections, and emergency OB care
