We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care locum tenens opportunity at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. This highly specialized assignment offers a consistent schedule, no call responsibilities, and the opportunity to work with a leading pediatric cardiac critical care team in a premier children's hospital setting.

Assignment Details:

Coverage Dates:

• October 1 start date

• Minimum 6-month assignment

• Ongoing full-time need

• Two full-time openings available

Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week

Call: None
Patient Volume: Approximately 7 patients per shift
Setting: Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Unit
EMR: Epic
Licensing: Utah licensing assistance available

Requirements:

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

• 3+ years of Pediatric Critical Care experience highly preferred

• ACLS Certification Required

• BLS Certification Required

• PALS Certification Required

• NP candidates should have a Nurse Licensure Compact license if applicable

• Ability to perform advanced critical care procedures

Required Skills & Procedures:

• Ventilator management

• ECMO management

• CRRT management

• Lumbar punctures

• Chest tube placement

• Endotracheal tube placement (ET placement)

Compensation:

• $140 per hour
